Denean Hill is an attorney for Student Legal Services at the University of Colorado—Boulder (CU), serving CU student clients locally and in surrounding jurisdictions. Student Legal Services provides consultations on municipal, traffic, misdemeanor and felony charges, including DUI/DWAI, as well as potential related consequences such as driver's license revocation by the Colorado Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) and/or imposition of sanctions by CU. Student Legal Services also provides consultations on consumer affairs, contract, landlord/tenant, small claims court, insurance, debt collection, bankruptcy, probate, divorce, criminal records sealing and employment matters. Student Legal Services cannot advise on tax, immigration, incorporation (small business), patent, copyright or real estate matters, or internal University problems. The cost of the initial consultation includes a follow-up appointment. Representation in court is available in many types of cases. All fees are a fraction of the cost of a private attorney.
